In order to provide the best wetland and stream mitigation solutions for permittees and to maximize water quality and wildlife habitat benefits, Terra Technologies is continually introducing more wetland and stream mitigation banks in Kansas and Missouri. Satisfying your Clean Water Act Section 404 and 401 permit requirements through the purchase of stream credits or wetland credits from a mitigation bank offers many advantages when compared to traditional on-site and off-site mitigation.
Advantages to Permittees:
- Lower Cost
- Faster Regulatory & Permitting Timeframes
- No Liability or Risk
- No Monitoring or Maintenance
- No involvement with mitigation project means that you can stay focused on your core business
Advantages to the environment:
- Larger parcels provide disproportionately greater water quality and wildlife habitat benefits compared to the combined benefit of many smaller parcels
- Mitigation is initiated before impacts occur
- Input and oversight from multiple regulatory agencies
- Greater likelihood of project success
- Site selection takes the aquatic habitat needs of the watershed into account

Credits will be available at published rates for 0.1 through 5.0 acre purchases. Discounted rates apply for larger credit purchases. Contact our St. Louis office at 314-984-0050 for more information.
Approved mitigation banks and proposed banks in the final stages of approval are located surrounding all or a portion of the following metropolitan areas:
- Kansas City (Missouri and Kansas sides)
- Columbia, Missouri
- Jefferson City, Missouri
- Springfield, Missouri
- Branson, Missouri
If your project is outside of the service area of one of our banks we can still satisfy your mitigation requirements through an on-site or off-site permittee-responsible mitigation site. Please contact us for more details.
