David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Woodside Ridge development in Lee’s Summit Missouri. When constructed, the development will help meet the demand for single family homes along the Chipman Road corridor of western Lee’s Summit.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. One intermittent stream totaling 2,572 linear feet, one ephemeral stream totaling 1,818 linear feet, and three wetlands totaling 0.34 acres were delineated at the site.
To replace the lost aquatic resources that result from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase credits from an approved compensatory mitigation bank or an in-lieu fee provider in the service area of the project.
