David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Wolf Creek Meadows Residential Development in southern Johnson County, Missouri. The project will help meet the demand for single family residential home sites in Overland Park Kansas
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. The site is approximately 80 acres and consists of agricultural land. A total of 4.91 acres of wetlands and 198 lineal feet of ephemeral stream channel was delineated within the subject area.
Due to the permanent loss of wetlands, mitigation credits will be purchased from the Kansas and Missouri River Wetland and Stream Umbrella Mitigation Site 1 where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
