David Flick, Principal and Founder of Terra Technologies, announces the firm has received a Nationwide Permit authorizing impacts to jurisdictional waters for the Wolf Creek Estates Residential Development in Spring Hill Kansas.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. The parcel is approximately 5 acres in size and was agricultural land and residences. Two wetlands totaling 0.41 acres, and no streams or ponds were delineated on the property.
Due to the requirement to place fill in regulated waters to facilitate site construction, mitigation credits will be purchased from the Kansas River Missouri River Umbrella Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
