Press Release:

Firm Receives Individual Permit For Residential Development In Johnson County Kansas

Tuesday, July 31, 2018

David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for a new Residential Development Timbers at Clear Creek in Lenexa Kansas. When constructed, the development will help meet the demand for single family homes in western Lenexa.

Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. Five wetlands totaling 0.30 acres, one ephemeral stream channel totaling 1,378 lineal feet, and two ponds totaling 0.19 acres were delineated on the parcel.

To replace the lost aquatic resources that result from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase credits from the Kansas River and Missouri River Wetland and Stream Umbrella Mitigation Bank, where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under the management by Terra Technologies.
