David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for St Luke’s East Hospital. The project will provide additional parking for St. Luke's East Hospital employees.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. The assessment area is approximately 14 acres and consists of forested land. A total of 0.32 acre of wetlands, 0.29 acre of pond, and no streams were delineated within the subject area.
The applicant received a Nationwide Permit 39 verification letter authorizing the activities required for the construction. Due to the loss of aquatic resources resulting from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase 0.32 wetland credits from an approved mitigation provider in the service area of the project. Such wetland credits will be purchased from Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank.
