David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for construction of the Southside Church of Christ in Lee’s Summit Missouri. When constructed, t he church will provide religious instruction, worship, and administrative facilities to a growing congregation in east Jackson County.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. A total of six wetlands totaling 1.76 acres were identified. It was determined by the Corps of Engineers the wetlands are jurisdictional waters.
Due to the requirement to place fill in wetlands to facilitate site construction, some permanent loss of wetlands will result. Mitigation credits will be purchased from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
