David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm has successfully completed a Jurisdictional Assessment of potential waters of the United States for a planned industrial development in Liberty Missouri. The project site is approximately 60 acres in size and located in uplands.
Scientist with Terra Technologies visited the site to locate to describe and determine the limits of any streams, wetlands or open water habitats found within the limits of the project. The jurisdictional assessment identified one wetland totaling 2.01 acres and one ephemeral stream channel totaling 208 lineal feet delineated on the parcel.
Applicants are required to complete the required scientific delineation to identify the type and extents of jurisdictional waters when development is proposed at a site. Such information is utilized to determine if a Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permit authorization is required from the Corps of Engineers prior to the placement of fill or grading in such waters.
