Press Release:

Firm Receives 404 Permit For A Mixed-Use Development In Johnson County Kansas

July 14, 2017

David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for The Retail Connection development project located at 115 th & Nall in Overland Park Kansas.. The project serves to meet the demand for retail services and multifamily living in the general area of Nall Ave between College and 115 th Street.

Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. Three wetlands totaling 0.21 acres, and one ephemeral stream totaling 289 lineal feet were delineated on the parcel. There were no ponds.

Due to the loss of aquatic resources resulting from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase wetland credits from the Kansas River and Missouri River Wetland and Stream Umbrella Mitigation Bank Site 1 where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.

For more information about Clean Water Act Section 404/401 Permits, please contact your local office of Terra Technologies.
