David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm has successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the QuikTrip Store 178 development project in Overland Park. Developed by QuikTrip Corporation at State Line and Carondelet Drive with civil works completed by Lutjen Consulting Engineers, the project serves the demand for convenience store services in the area of College and Pflumm .
Scientists at Terra Technologies consulted the owner and design team to culvert a previously altered segment of tributary to allow site utilization for parking lot construction. An extended wetland detention basin and other best management practices provide water quality and quantity attenuation of post development runoff .
Mitigation credits were purchased from an approved mitigation bank in compliance with permit special conditions.
