David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Proximity Park Industrial Site in central Franklin County. The Rock Creek project represents a major development for the City of Ottawa, Franklin County, and the entire region. It is located off of Interstate 35 and Montana Road.
Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the 330-acre parcel, identifying one perennial stream totaling 2,272 lineal feet, one ephemeral stream totaling 426 lineal feet, one pond totaling 0.30acres, and twenty wetlands totaling 3.69 acres.
Due to the requirement to place fill in wetlands to facilitate site construction, some permanent loss of wetlands will result. Mitigation credits will be purchased from the Upper Osage River Umbrella Bank Site 1 where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
