David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the 119 Pflumm multi-family residential development in Johnson County Kansas. The development will help meet the demand for multi-family residential living along the 119 th and Pflumm corridor.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. The parcel is approximately 29 acres in size and consists of fallow agricultural land and residential land. Two wetlands totaling 0.29 acres, and one ephemeral stream totaling 523 lineal feet were delineated on the property. There were no ponds.
The applicant received a Nationwide Permit 29 verification letter authorizing unavoidable impacts to jurisdictional surface waters. Compensatory mitigation credits will be purchased from the Kansas River and Missouri River Umbrella Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
