David Flick, principal and founder of Terra Technologies, is proud to announce that the North Grand River Wetland & Stream Mitigation Bank has been put on Public Notice by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This wetland and stream restoration site in northern Carroll County was constructed in 2007 and includes roughly 25 acres of restored and enhanced wetlands, more than 53 acres of widened riparian corridors adjacent to two onsite streams and almost 68 acres of prairie buffers.
The Public Notice is conducted by the Kansas City District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in order to receive input from commenting regulatory agencies and the public regarding this project. The restoration activities at this site are proposed to provide compensatory mitigation for impacts to waters of the United States, including streams and wetlands, throughout the watersheds of the Grand and Chariton Rivers in north-central Missouri. |
