David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Northland Park Industrial Site in southern Clay County. The project as proposed would construct two large scale warehouses east of North Pleasant Avenue.
Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the parcel identifying twenty two wetlands totaling 27.59 acres. The majority of wetlands in a central drainageway are avoided by the project.
Due to the requirement to place fill in wetlands to facilitate site construction, some permanent loss of wetlands will result. Mitigation credits will be purchased from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
