David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for construction of three warehouses in Clay County Missouri. The project will provide warehouse capacity in the Highway 210 bottoms east of Interstate 435.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the244 acre parent parcel, identifying 22 wetlands totaling 27 acres.
Due to the requirement to place fill in wetlands to facilitate site construction, some permanent loss of wetlands will result. Mitigation credits will be purchased from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
