David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for residential development in Clay County Missouri. When constructed, the development will help meet the demand for single family homes along the Interstate 35 Highway corridor near Liberty Missouri.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. Twenty five wetlands totaling 3.99 acres, two ponds totaling 1.66 acres, and one ephemeral stream channel totaling 879 linear feet were delineated at the site.
To replace the lost aquatic resources that result from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase credits from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank and the Lamine Blue River Umbrella Mitigation Bank Site 1 where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
