The 15-acre Lenexa Logistics Centre Conservation Corridor site is under construction, monitoring, and maintenance in central Lenexa, Kansas. This project site is generally located on a parcel of land on the southwest corner of College Boulevard and Renner Boulevard in Lenexa, Kansas.
The large scale conservation corridor includes an 8-acre wetland basin and surrounding 7-acres of upland prairies and woodlands. Newly established emergent wetlands in the basin includes persistent aquatic plunge and micropools surrounded by moderately persistent hollows and high mark hummocks.
Approximately 33,000 obligate and facultative species of native wetland species are planted throughout the basin. The basin and prairies will serve as a substantial water quality level of service amenity for the surrounding 120-acre Lenexa Logistics Centre industrial project being developed by Block Real Estate Services.
