David Flick, Principal and Founder of Terra Technologies, announces the firm has received the necessary Clean Water Act permit to authorize the construction of a soft surface haul road with a culvert stream crossing. The project allows access to conduct routine maintenance to a large digital sign board adjacent to Interstate 470
The site layout will avoid a majority of regulated surface waters, and the applicant is completing minor grading to expand the hydrologic footprint of adjacent wetlands. The project serves as an example where construction of an earthen haul road can be achieved while increasing the ecological diversity of adjacent wetlands.
