David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the LMV Automotive Systems manufacturing facility at the Heartland Business Park in Liberty, Missouri. When constructed, the manufacturing facility will expand production of automotive frames for the Ford Assembly Plant in Claycomo Missouri.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States including ephemeral and intermittent tributaries within the limits of the proposed development project. The project minimized impacts to receiving waters through the avoidance of an intermittent tributary and the use of upland best management practices including an extended wetland detention basin.
Due to the permanent loss of ephemeral drainages resulting from site grading, mitigation credits will be purchased from the Clear Fork Creek Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
