David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for a private recreation pond in unincorporated Clay County.
In October 2015 Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed pond project and submitted the findings to the Kansas City District of the US Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Division for a Nationwide Permit. During the permit review period, staff completed a Phase 1 Cultural Resource Survey to comply with National Historic Preservation Act requirements.
As project impacts did not exceed 300 lineal feet, no compensatory mitigation was required and a Nationwide Permit was granted.
