David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for a new residential development in Basehor, Kansas. When constructed, the development will help meet the demand for single family homes along the State Avenue corridor near Basehor Kansas.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. Seven wetlands totaling 2.05 acres, two intermittent stream channels totaling 1966 lineal feet, one perennial stream channel totaling 325 lineal feet, one ephemeral stream channel totaling 143 linear feet, and one pond totaling 0.21 acre were delineated on the parcel.
As impacts to wetlands resulting from the project are less than 0.10 acres, no compensatory mitigation is required.
