David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for a new Residential Development within South Blue Springs, Missouri. When constructed, the development will help meet the demand for single family homes in the Chapman Farms area of eastern Jackson County.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. Eight wetlands totaling 0.74 acres, one intermittent stream channel totaling 2,822 lineal feet, one perennial stream channel totaling 148 lineal feet, and one pond totaling 1.34 acres delineated on the parcel.
To replace the lost aquatic resources that result from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase credits from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank, where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
