David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully re-verified Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the City of Kansas City Public Works Department for a roadway improvement project. The project will provide improved transportation infrastructure.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. One perennial stream totaling 1,919 lineal feet, two intermittent streams totaling 1,494 lineal feet, two ephemeral streams totaling 287 lineal feet, and three wetlands totaling 0.03 were delineated.
Due to the loss of aquatic resources resulting from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase stream credits from an approved provider.
