David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the City of Edgerton. The sanitary sewer interceptor will provide new service to existing and proposed industrial developments in the vicinity of 199 th and Waverly Road.
There will be two intermittent stream crossings and one ephemeral stream crossing. The applicant received a Nationwide Permit 12 verification letter authorizing the activities required for the construction, maintenance, repair, and removal of utility lines and associated facilities in jurisdictional waters. To qualify for this Nationwide Permit, sewer crossings must not alter the predisturbance elevation of the tributary. As such, any angular rock used to armor the utility must be placed below stream flow line. The applicant will also perform site restoration according to a plan developed by staff at Terra Technologies.
