David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the City of Edgerton. The sanitary sewer interceptor will provide new service to existing and proposed industrial developments in the vicinity of 199 th and Waverly Road.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. The assessment area is approximately 5,000 lineal feet in length and consists of forested and agricultural land. A total of 2.414 acres of wetlands, 598 LF of intermittent stream channel, 643 lineal feet of ephemeral stream channel, and 0.67 acre of ponds were delineated within and around the subject area
The applicant received a Nationwide Permit 12 verification letter authorizing the activities required for the construction, maintenance, repair, and removal of utility lines and associated facilities in jurisdictional waters, provided the activity does not result in the loss of greater than ½ acre of waters. The applicant will also have to follow the restoration plan that was developed by staff at Terra Technologies.
