David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for construction of Diamond Lake near XXXX Missouri. When completed, the lake will provide a private recreational resource for the family and friends of Mark Diamond.
Scientists with Terra Technologies assisted the applicant with organization of key technical submittals in support of the project. The lake impounds 26 acres of surface water across an unnamed tributary forming confluence with the Castor River. The lake will include warm and cool water fisheries.
Lakes require an immense quantity of compensatory mitigation due to the conversion of stream to lake habitat. Scientists with Terra Technologies designed in-stream and riparian corridor improvements to 8,089 linear feet of tributaries within the Diamond parcel, creating over 21,000 stream credits of ecological gain.
