David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for construction of the Dayton Freight Facility in southwestern Jackson County Missouri. The project will increase trucking and freight capacity along Missouri Highway 150 corridor in western Jackson County.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the 37 acre parcel, identifying 4 wetlands totaling 0.33 acres. There were no streams or ponds.
Due to the requirement to place fill in wetlands to facilitate site construction, some permanent loss of wetlands will result. Mitigation credits will be purchased from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
