David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Dayton Creek Residential Development in Spring Hill Kansas. The development will help meet the demand for single family residential homes along the Highway 169 corridor in southwestern Johnson County Kansas
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. The parcel is approximately 24 acres in size and consists of agricultural land. A total of 3,048 lineal feet of intermittent stream channel, 1,044 lineal feet of ephemeral stream channel, and 0.09 acre of wetlands were delineated within the subject area.
The US Army Corps of Engineers concurred that impacts to jurisdictional waters were below 0.10 acre, therefore no mitigation was required.
