David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Creekside at Raintree residential development project located in southern Jackson County and northern Cass County Missouri. The project serves to meet the demand for single family homes in the Raintree Lake area.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. Three wetlands totaling 0.30 acres, one intermittent stream totaling 1,231 lineal feet, and one ephemeral stream totaling 304 lineal feet were delineated on the parcel. There were no ponds.
Due to the loss of aquatic resources resulting from the authorized project, the permittee must purchase wetland credits from the Camp Branch Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
