Terra Technologies is proud to announce that Craig Gump will be rejoining our firm as a Senior Ecologist. A Past President of the Central Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists, Craig brings a hard work ethic and an extensive background of wetland delineation and ecosystem monitoring to the firm which will help us continue to improve how we serve our clients’ needs.
After receiving his master’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University, Craig spent five years with Terra Technologies. In that capacity Craig performed wetland delineations and stream system evaluations on thousands of acres of land. He also monitored the progress of many large-scale wetland and stream mitigation banks and smaller permittee-responsible mitigation sites. In addition, Craig was the firm's point of contact for endangered species audits in the western Missouri and Eastern Kansas markets. During his time away from Terra Technologies, Craig gained valuable experience working for the environmental division of a multinational engineering firm and teaching biology.
His primary initial duties will be supervising the Terra Foundation’s application for an in-lieu fee mitigation program in the State of Oklahoma, developing conservation banks for threatened and endangered species and monitoring the numerous wetland and stream mitigation banks established by Terra Technologies throughout Missouri and Kansas.
