Press Release:

Firm Oversees Construction Of Conservation Corridor For Industrial Development Parcel In Lenexa, Kansas

January 15, 2014

Terra Technologies and Swallow Tail Design Build Inc in conjunction with J&H Landscaping successfully designed and constructed a large scale construction corridor with extended wetland detention basin in Lenexa, Kansas. The 15+ acre conservation corridor includes a 7.63-acre wetland basin and surrounding upland prairies and woodlands. The basin is comprised of persistent aquatic plunge and micropools surrounded by moderately persistent hollows and high mark hummocks.

Approximately 33,000 obligate and facultative species of native wetland species were planted throughout the wetland. The basin and prairies serve as a substantial water quality level of service amenity for the surrounding 120-acre Lenexa Logistics Centre industrial project being developed by Block Real Estate Services.
