David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm has successfully completed Section 404 Clean Water Act Permitting for the construction of the 194th Street and Peppertree roadway projects on behalf of the City of Edgerton, Kansas. The purpose of the project is to allow bypass of the nearby 191 st and Homestead freight intersection that facilitates access to the BNSF site.
Because the project was designed in accordance with general and regional conditions of a specific nationwide permit, the US Army Corps of Engineers verified the suitability of the project in compliance with Nationwide Permit 14 (Linear Transportation) without a requirement for compensatory mitigation as impacts to jurisdictional waters are below 0.10 acres.
