David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Estates at Chapman Farms Residential Development in Jackson County Missouri. The development will help meet the demand for residential homes along the Highway 7 corridor in southern Blue Springs Missouri
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. The parcel is approximately 81 acres in size and was agricultural land and residences. One intermittent stream totaling 2,822 lineal feet, one ephemeral stream totaling 148 lineal feet, Eight wetlands totaling 0.74 acre, and one pond totaling 1.34 acres were delineated on the property.
Due to the requirement to place fill in wetlands to facilitate site construction, some permanent loss of wetlands will result. Mitigation credits will be purchased from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under
