David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Residential Development in Clay County Missouri. The development will help meet the demand for single family residential homes along the Highway 152 corridor in northern Kansas City.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States to document existing site conditions. The parcel is approximately 40 acres in size and consists of agricultural land. Five (5) ephemeral streams totaling 2,983 lineal feet and 2 wetlands totaling 1.73 acres were delineated within the subject area.
Due to the permanent loss of streams, the permittee will purchase mitigation credits from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank in the service area of the project.
