David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for the Bretton Circle Residential Development in Johnson County Kansas. The development will help meet the demand for residential homes along the 135th Street corridor in west central Overland Park.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. Although stream features appeared present from aerial photographs, the drainage met the requirement as a linear wetland in a continuous segment.
The US Army Corps of Engineers concurred that impacts to jurisdictional waters were below 0.10 acre in total and not above the 300 lineal foot threshold, therefore no compensatory mitigation was required.
