David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for construction of a sanitary sewer public utility located on Bowlin Road east of Highway I470 . The utility will be owned by the City of Lee’s Summit and will serve numerous parcels including the future Monticello residential development.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States and to document existing site conditions. The parcel is approximately 3 acres in size and consists of forested and agricultural land.
There is one intermittent stream channel totaling 1,272 lineal feet and three ephemeral stream channels totaling 1,091 lineal feet delineated on the parcel.
The applicant received a Nationwide Permit 12 verification letter authorizing the activities required for the construction, maintenance, repair, and removal of utility lines and associated facilities in jurisdictional waters, provided the activity does not result in the loss of greater than ½ acre of waters.
