Press Release:

Firm Receives Nationwide Permit For Construction Debris Landfill Phase 2 In Jackson County Missouri

Tuesday, May 23, 2017

David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for a construction landfill located in Independence Missouri. The project will help meet the demand for centrally-located construction debris landfill services in eastern Jackson County in close proximity to current and future building demolition work.

Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States along the limits of the proposed project. The limits of such surface waters are determined using the Corps of Engineers 1987 delineation method.

The applicant understands the requirement for avoidance and minimization. Grading and fill placement is limited to uplands. For minimization, the applicant proposes to seed native grasses protected with erosion control blanket on all slopes abutting the project.

For more information about Clean Water Act Section 404 Nationwide Permits, please contact your local office of Terra Technologies.
