David Flick, Principal and Founder of Terra Technologies, announces the firm has received the necessary Clean Water Act permit to authorize the Turner Road Realignment Project in Belton Missouri. The purpose of the project is to eliminate roadway flooding at the intersection of Turner and Highway Y and realign the intersection of Turner Road at Highway Y to accommodate improved intersection safety.
Because the project was designed in accordance with general and regional conditions of a specific nationwide permit, the US Army Corps of Engineers verified the suitability of the project in compliance with Nationwide Permit 14 (Linear Transportation).
Impacts to a jurisdictional intermittent tributary required the permittee to purchase mitigation stream credits. The current approved mitigation bank in the service area of the project is Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank.
