David Flick, Principal and Founder, announces that the firm successfully completed Section 404/401 Clean Water Act permitting for a storage facility development in Eastern Jackson County Missouri. The project will help meet the demand for monthly leased storage facilities along the Highway 40 corridor of Western Blue Springs, Southern Independence, and Northern Lee’s Summit Missouri.
Scientists with Terra Technologies completed a jurisdictional assessment of potential waters of the United States within the limits of the proposed development project. Six wetlands totaling 1.57 acres and no streams or ponds were delineated on the property.
Due to the requirement to place fill in wetlands to facilitate site construction, some permanent loss of wetlands will result. Mitigation credits will be purchased from the Clear Fork Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank where such surface waters are preserved through perpetuity under management by Terra Technologies.
